Ubuntu Mobile OS Launch

Canonical is the company behind Linux based computer operating system Ubuntu. I teamed up with them to create a series of films to help them launch their debut Phone and Tablet operating systems.

The idea was to create digital keynotes, delivered by Canonical’s enigmatic founder and first South African to visit space, Mark Shuttleworth. I worked closely with the team at Canonical to deliver their key messages to a worldwide audience, the videos racking up millions of views. The content was also packaged up to create a press pack, which was screened worldwide by outlets including the BBC.
